Duy Thong Nguyen
Team Lead
Duy Thong received the B.E. and M.S. degrees in telecommunication engineering from the School of Electronics and Telecommunications, Hanoi University of Science and Technology, Vietnam, in 2011 and 2015, respectively. He received the Ph.D. degree in electronic engineering with Kookmin University, South Korea in 2019.
Currently, he is a professor at Quy Nhon University in Vietnam. His research interests include optical camera communications, channel coding, digital signage, and network administration

- Current position: Research Associate at LiFi R&D Centre, the University of Strathclyde (UK).
- Past position ( 9. 2015- 12.2018): Voting member at IEEE 802.15 within IEEE Standards Association. Earned Ph.D. degree in Major of Electronics Engineering conferred by Kookmin University in 2018. Mainly from 2013 to 2018, he had a dominant contribution to 6 international patents/applications + 37 other Korea patents/applications.

Duc Thieu
Communication System Engineer
Duc Thieu earned a M.Sc. degree of Electrical & Electronics Engineering at Kookmin University (KMU), South Korea, in 2019 and a Bachelor degree in Control and Automation Engineering Technology from Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST), Vietnam, in 2015.
His research interests include Optical Wireless Communications (OWC), Optical Camera Communications (OCC). From 2017 to 2019, he has contributed to 3 highly-cited journal papers as the first author and second author; 1 U.S. patents; and several international and domestic conference papers in Vietnam and Korea.
Currently, he is working as a Hardware Engineer in Hanoi, Vietnam.
